Festa Arquiteturas 2016 – Cine Concerto

No âmbito da 4ª edição do Arquiteturas Film Festival, a ZDB acolhe a Festa Arquitecturas 2016 com a exibição do filme-concerto Teleférico La Paz e banda sonora ao vivo da banda El Kordi seguida por um DJ set com cúmbia Boliviana.

Teleférico La Paz (EM) de Carlos Gomes (2016, Bolivia, 32’)
La Paz, capital da Bolívia, funde-se com a montanha a 3500m. Inaugurado em 2014, “Cable Car La Paz”, o maior sistema de teleférico do mundo, atravessa a cidade de um lado ao outro, facilitando a vida de milhares de cidadãos, como alternativa a uma rede de transportes públicos pobres e a um trânsito caótico. Um trabalho fascinante de engenharia, entre a terra e o céu, ligando a área mais rica  da cidade (La Florida) à mais pobre (El Alto). Ao longo da viagem entre as duas extremidades da linha, o filme faz uma “exploração” democrática da cidade. Esta nova oportunidade de ver a cidade de cima traz um verdadeiro momento de lazer e renovação da ideia de que os cidadãos têm da sua própria cidade.

Teleférico La Paz de Carlos Gomes (2016, Bolívia, 32′)

La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, merges with the mountain at 3500m. Opened in 2014, “Cable Car La Paz”, the largest cable car system in the world, crosses the city from one end to the other, facilitating the daily life of thousands of citizens, in alternative to a poor public transport network and chaotic traffic. A fascinating engineering work, in between the earth and the sky, connecting the poorest (El Alto) and the richest (La Florida) areas of the city. Along the journey between the two ends of the line, the film makes a democratic “scanning” of the city. This new opportunity of viewing the city from above brings a true moment of recreation and renovation of the idea that the citizens have of their own city.
